Terms & Conditions for Home Tutors for Clients/Parents
These Terms & Conditions (“Vedanshi Learning Terms”) govern the use of Vedanshi Learning’s home tuition services by clients who have subscribed to (a) Trial Classes and/or (b) Subscription Classes (hereinafter referred to as “clients”/”you”/”your”/”parents”).
Vedanshi Learning is (“Company”/”our”/”us”). Subject to the terms set forth below, upon subscribing to any of the Vedanshi Learning products, one-on-one offline tuition sessions of 1.5 hours are provided by assigning a tutor to your home for tutoring the relevant subject to your ward, who may be studying from Grade 1 to graduation and other professional courses.
1. Definitions
Trial Class: One class for the selected subject on a trial basis, available upon payment of a non-refundable fee, as specified in the Customer Order Verification Form.
Subscription Classes: A series of classes subscribed to upon payment of the applicable fee, as detailed in the Customer Order Verification Form.
Subject: Regular school (State/ICSE/CBSE/IB or IGCSE/NIOS) board subjects, college subjects, or any other subject offered under Vedanshi Learning, as opted by you.
Customer Order Verification Form: The form filled by you while subscribing to Vedanshi Learning products, detailing the selected subjects, schedule, and payment.
2. Scheduling Classes
You can schedule Trial Classes and Subscription Classes by contacting our helpline numbers: +91-8956734267. Based on the availability of a suitable tutor for the chosen subject, a tutor will be assigned to visit your home as per the selected time slot:
Weekdays: 08:00 AM to 08:00 PM
Weekends (Saturday and Sunday): 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM
Upon confirmation, details such as the tutor’s name, contact number, and timing will be shared with you. A reminder will also be sent at least one hour prior to the scheduled class.
In case of a change in your home location, you must inform us at least 24 hours in advance. If the new location is within our service area, we will continue providing services, subject to tutor availability. If not, we will refund the applicable fee as per our Refund Policy.
3. Number of Students per Tuition Slot
Only the student named in the Customer Order Verification Form is permitted to attend the tuition sessions.
4. Teaching Methods
Tutors may use laptops or similar electronic devices to present study materials. They will assist with homework, conduct regular assessments, and share progress reports with you.
5. Rescheduling Classes
Trial Class:
By Client: Rescheduling is allowed once, with a 24-hour prior notice.
By Tutor: If the tutor reschedules, we will inform you at least 24 hours in advance and arrange the next available slot.
Subscription Classes:
By Client: You may reschedule up to twice a month, with a 24-hour prior notice.
By Tutor: Tutors may reschedule with at least 24-hour notice; such rescheduling will not count against your monthly limit.
6. Replacement of Tutor
Trial Class: If dissatisfied, you may book another Trial Class with a different tutor by paying the applicable fee.
Subscription Classes: Tutor replacement is allowed under the following circumstances:
Inappropriate behavior by the tutor.
Tutor’s punctuality issues (late by more than 15 minutes, at least 4 times in a month).
Unsatisfactory teaching methods, within 7 days of tutor assignment (one-time replacement per academic year).
Requests will be reviewed, and upon approval, a new tutor will be assigned.
7. Client Obligations
Ensure classes are conducted in your presence.
Do not engage tutors for personal tuition outside Vedanshi Learning.
Provide a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment with good cellular reception.
Interact with tutors professionally.
Do not lodge false complaints.
Monitor the student’s performance based on tutor feedback.
Raise rescheduling requests timely.
Adhere to social distancing and other government-mandated safeguards.
Do not discriminate against tutors based on race, religion, caste, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, sex, marital status, gender identity, age, or any other unlawful metric.
8. Communication
All communications will be sent via your preferred mode, as per your accepted terms of usage.
9. Grievance Redressal
For issues related to refunds, tutor replacement, rescheduling, complaints, or technical problems, contact our helpline numbers: +91-8956734267. Our customer support team will generate a ticket and aim to resolve the issue within 48 hours.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

12. Legal Jurisdiction
These Terms constitute an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, India.
