Terms & Conditions – Vedanshi Learning Tutors

This document outlines the key Terms & Conditions applicable to tutors associated with Vedanshi Learning.

 1. Engagement Overview

• Parties: This agreement is between Vedanshi Learning, located in Mumbai, and the individual tutor.

• Nature of Engagement: Tutors are hired as independent professionals, not employees. They are responsible for their own tax and legal obligations.

 2. Registration & Payment

• Registration Fee: A one-time, non-refundable registration fee of ₹1,200 is required at the time of joining.

• Hourly Payment: Tutors will be paid as per the hourly rate mutually agreed during onboarding. No separate payments are made for travel or preparation time.

• Payment Cycle: Monthly payments are processed between the 10th–15th of the following month, after deduction of applicable TDS.

 3. Session Tracking

• Tutors must maintain a Daily Log Sheet, signed by the student or parent after each session. This is mandatory for attendance and payment verification.

 4. Confidentiality & Ethics

• Tutors must not share any student or company information with third parties.

• Contacting students/parents for payment or private arrangements is strictly prohibited.

• Breach of confidentiality or unethical behavior will lead to immediate termination and potential legal action.

 5. Duration & Commitment

• A minimum 12-month commitment is expected from the tutor.

• If the tutor leaves before 12 months, a penalty of ₹20,000 will be levied, adjustable against pending payments.

 6. Prohibited Practices

• Direct Negotiations with parents/students for rates or private classes is not allowed.

• Penalty for such actions is ₹25,000, and can result in permanent blacklisting.

• Irregularities in attendance or repeated cancellations without notice can lead to termination.

 7. Class Cancellations

• Student Cancellations must be informed at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, the tutor will be paid for the missed session.

• Tutor Cancellations should also be informed 24 hours prior. Late arrival time must be compensated by extending the session.

 8. Termination

• Either party may terminate the agreement with 15 days’ notice.

• Immediate termination may occur due to misconduct, unethical behavior, or breach of policy.

 9. Legal Jurisdiction

• All disputes related to this agreement will be governed by the courts of [Your City, e.g., Mumbai, Maharashtra].

 10. Data Protection

• Tutors agree to maintain confidentiality of all data and academic content during and up to 3 years post-contract.

• No tutor may share or reuse academic materials provided by Vedanshi Learning without written consent.

 11. Additional Notes

• Trial class fees are non-refundable.

• Refund requests must be made within 5 days of enrollment; after that, fees are non-refundable.
